How our T-Shirts are environmentally conscious and create American jobs.

Your Brave Face is committed to providing high-quality products. We want to do it with an environmentally conscious, America first, mindset. That is why we chose Bella and Canvas as our go to T-Shirt. Lets dive deeper into how Bella and Canvas is environmentally conscious and how they create American jobs.

Water Reduction

Bella and Canvas uses more efficient dye machines which uses 7x less water than the average clothing manufacturer. This saves 24 million gallons of water each week. The unused water is filtered and recycled to be used again. As many of you already know, water is one of the most important resources in the world, and we must be conscious of how we use it for the future to come.

Energy Reduction

Bella and Canvas is a green company through and through. They take every opportunity to reduce their co2 emissions such as using solar energy to power their sewing and cutting facilities. It is also important to them that they use motion-sensor LED lighting and skylights throughout each building. They even provide their employees with electric car charging stations to support and encourage their decision to go green.

Virtually Zero Waste

Bell and Canvas's manufacturing facilities and LA Headquarters produce almost no landfill because they recycle pretty much everything that can't be turned into a tee. They've optimized cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs or stuffing for upholstery. As they say "Let nothing go to waste!"

Creating jobs for Americans

American made is something we and Bella and Canvas believe in deeply. As one of the biggest clothing manufacturers in America, Bella and Canvas provides well over 1,000 jobs. They are always pushing the envelope to add more volume and just recently doubled the size of both their cutting and fulfillment facilities, adding even more jobs!

No sweatshops/platinum wrap certification

Doing things the right way has never been up for debate at Bella and Canvas. They have been manufacturing in the U.S. and internationally in a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way since day one. Our Platinum W.R.A.P. certification is just a small indication of how hard they work to make their sewing and cutting floors pleasant, productive, comfortable places to be.

What Principles Does the WRAP Certification Include?

  • Human resources management
  • Health and safety standards
  • Environmental and eco-friendly practices
  • Legal compliance including import/export, customs compliance and security standards

Fair Labor Association participating company

Bella and Canvas is a Participating Company of the Fair Labor Association and has committed to upholding the FLA Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout its entire supply chain.

We want to bring this information to light with our customers and show our commitment to the environment and our country. Your Brave Face is partnered with another American based print service as well, and they share a lot of the same values listed above. However, we will not disclose who they are. We just want you to know that at every stage of our business operations we are doing the right thing, and aren't just another for profit company. Your Brave Face firmly believes in providing our customers with the best products based on these values.
